Every island in Hawaii is epic, but we have a special place in our hearts for Oahu (after all, we’re headquartered here). Here are 3 of the many reasons we love Honolulu:
1. There’s Not A Bad View in the House.
Honolulu has some of the most spectacular views in the U.S. The Halona Blowhole is a marvelous spot to see water shooting into the air or watch humpback whales as they take their journey leaving the North Pacific. Take a hike on the Diamond Head trail to witness the island’s grandeur, and of course, Papahānaumoku (Mother Earth).
Tooth Tip: Whether you’re by the ocean or near the sky, relax and de-stress to help combat tooth grinding.
2. Our Cold Treats Are On Fleek.
In a place where the average annual temperature sits between 70 and 84 degrees, you can bet on some of the best cold treats. From Mochi Ice Cream from Bubbies to the classic and colorful cones of Waiola Shave Ice, Honolulu is tops for treats.
Tooth Tip: Tooth sensitivity got you down? Don’t let that stop you from enjoying the good stuff.
3. Get Your Culture On.
Bishop Museum was founded in 1889 by Charles Reed Bishop in honor of his late wife, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha family. Recognized for its cultural collections and public educational programs, the Bishop Museum is a staple in the preservation of Honolulu’s history.
Tooth Tip: From Hula Implements made from dog’s teeth to chief necklaces made of whale teeth, the Bishop Museum has history pieces to sink your teeth into.
