1. Hawaiian Plantation Museum
This museum focuses on common Hawaiian life from the 19th and 20th centuries, and the Lyman Museum and Mission Houses teaches about life before and after the missionaries.
2. Iolani Palace
Oahu’s ‘Iolani Palace is the only royal palace found on U.S. soil and was the home of the original Hawaiian monarchs. The palace actually had water and electricity before the U.S. White House!
3. Keauhou
The lands of Keauhou hold a wealth of historical sites including 3 restored temples, the Kuamoo Battle and Lekeleke Burial grounds and a holua slide (stone ramp).
