“Kokua” means “helping,” and that’s what Kokua Kalihi Valley (KKV) does well. KKV is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing community members a wide range of services such as:
• Maternal and child health care
• Nutrition
• Health education
• Elderly services
• Positive youth development
The health center is one of few dental clinics in the country to offer professional educational opportunities through its Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). This program performs preventive and restorative dental care to local, underserved residents.
KKV has come a long way throughout its 43 years of service to the community. The health center continues to make patients a priority. KKV knows firsthand that a healthy community is a thriving community.
